Open to All: Supporting Each Other, Building Hope

What is the Care Collective?

Care Collective - Seattle Support is a community designed primarily for caregivers navigating the emotional and practical challenges of brain tumor care. This is a space to share experiences, gain actionable insights, and find solace among others who truly understand. While caregivers are at the heart of our group, patients and clinicians are welcome to join and contribute.

The Care Collective - Seattle Support is a peer-to-peer support community shaped by the shared contributions and collaboration of its members. Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming space where people can connect, share insights and experiences, and support one another in meaningful ways. This is a collective effort—no single individual is responsible for the group’s beliefs, decisions, or direction. The role of any organizer or facilitator is simply to help coordinate and provide opportunities for connection. They are not providing professional advice or endorsing the information shared in this space. Instead, they participate as equals in the community, helping to ensure the group operates smoothly and inclusively. It’s important to understand that the discussions and resources shared here come from personal perspectives and lived experiences. We are not medical professionals, therapists, or legal advisors, and nothing shared in this group is a substitute for professional guidance. For specific medical, legal, or therapeutic concerns, we strongly encourage reaching out to qualified professionals who can provide advice tailored to your situation.Participation in this group is always voluntary, and we hope it provides a supportive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. While we strive to share helpful ideas and encouragement, this group is about connection, not providing definitive answers or solutions. Together, we make this community what it is—a place for shared understanding and mutual support.
